Less Is More is a recent post on Clique This. The title caught my eye first because often less is more, but we seldom see less in a SL decor post. Some rooms are very beautiful but it feels like there is no room for people in them. Not this room. It’s spare without a dozen things on th floor to trip over and to collect dust. I love th art on the wall and clean and simple furnishings. If I were to ever put a television in the bedroom, I guess I would like it in a shelving unit like this on, but I don’t think I would ever want a TV in the bedroom. That’s where I read!

Holding on to Summer makes me a little bit jealous. I want that lovely bird and bug-friendly yard with that gorgeous sofa set. I hope that’s waterproof fabric though, given that this is Oregon. I love that it is not in a mowed monoculture lawn but has some wildflowers. Portland has started added areas with native grasses in the city parks to provide food for the critters we need to sustain life on the planet. Changing the plants in your lawn to native species and feeding the bugs and birds is the most significant thing you can do as an individual to save the planet. If you’re curious about this, try “Nature’s Best Hope” by Douglas W. Tallamy. Then you, too, can relax in the sunshine with the chirping of birds, the buzzing of bees, and the whirring flutter of dragonflies.

Clique This may be the cleverest blog name ever. It plays off the sound of a camera, but with the homonym for a collection of friends. This captures the fact that the real life driver for the collection of a vatars who create this blog has dissociative identity disorder. [See About Us here.]I had not really thought of it before, but aren’t Second Life alts a perfect medium for this disorder to be expressed? The blog itself is well-organized and with text describing the scene. Text makes me happy. The credits are complete. It is just what you or your collective need.
