Tweeko's Photos Beautifully Illustrate the Vivid State of SL Avatar Expression

Tweeko loves to shoot her pics from dramatic angles that reveal her subject in a new light. Take “That’s just the way” where she shoots from below, from her feet toward her head, the opposite as more usual pics. The lighting casts all the graphic elements into a deep shadow and lets us focus on her face, her outstretched arm, and her canted legs. I love this picture and it drew me in to take a deeper dive into her photostream. She linked to “Make Me Feel” by Janelle Monae to go with the picture. [Click here to listen]

“Discover me” looks like a position in a modern dance. It strikes me as the apotheosis of her fascination with positioning the body at extreme angles. Browning through her stream, again and again there will be an arm stretched out and leg angled or a neck jutting forward. She seems to love the angles and extensions she can make with her body, seeing it as a sculptural form. She does not try to catch the body unaware, but instead she is acutely aware of each joint and its form.

“Right there and then” strikes me as capturing a woman’s orgasm. Sure, it’s just her hand and a knee, but look at the tension in her hand. That impression was confirmed when I clicked through to her choice of music for her picture, “Bilingual” by Jose Nunez, featuring Taina. [Click here to listen]

Tweeko’s photostream is fascinating. Of course, there are a few naturalistic pictures of her and her with someone else, but by and large, she focuses on posing her body in positions that are extreme, though not awkward. So when she takes a picture of a couple dancing, it’s like the one above or in a tango, where it is all about position. It’s an intriguing journey she takes us on.
