Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
The 50 Shades of Seren is a lush photostream. Take this untitled photo from Echo Mountain. It almost feels like a painting. I even wondered before I clicked whether it was shot in Second Life or not, but sure enough it was and Seren even provides a SLurl. [To teleport, click here]
While I am more drawn to her landscapes, all her photos are well-done and appealing. As she explains, “The most important thing is this. I capture images that make me feel something, that is what is so enjoyable about this for me. Some of my photos may not make any sense to those viewing them, but in my mind, they all have some kind of connection to a least a very little part of me.”

This picture from Longing Melody is so mysterious. The fog is thick rising from the water, so much so that for a minute, I thought there was something in the boat, before the rocks behind it resolved themselves for me…almost as though the fog cleared for a moment. The seal on the rock seems to embody the idea of longing, an appropriate emotional context for a pic from Longing Melody. [Click here to teleport]
This picture was taken at Elvion and can’t you just picture elves and fairies hiding among the lavender, hidden from our eyes, but able to watch our every move. Of course, science is busy explaining away fairies. The fairy rings in Northern Europe are due to fungus. The fairy circles in Namibia were recently ascribed to water and dehydration. Pretty soon there will be no fairies anywhere but Iceland and Second Life. [Click here to teleport]
The 50 Shades of Seren is definitely someone you should follow for a lovely mix of pics of her and her travels in Second Life.
