Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Cathy Macpherson’s “Like dust in the wind” is so well-done, I nearly arrowed past it thinking it was from Midjourney or something like that. Then I saw the credit, that the boot came from the store Nutmeg in Second Life. I am astonished. Going by the rest of her stream, she does love the West.

Technically, a barn can be anywhere, but this has the feeling of the West with her cowboy hat and guitar.Though, to be completely honest, you would never catch me sitting on hay in shorts. That stuff scratches and makes a person itch. Personally, I think they should make a hazmat suit for hay. Still, I love the picture with the sleeping dog and the horse chomping away at the grass.
“Change is like that: you are no longer where you were; you are not yet where you will get; you are nowhere exactly.” is another pic of the West - a man lazing by some cactus, setting his guitar to the side. I wonder where we are in his story. Has he been playing for a group of fellow cowboys who all happen to be outside the frame, maybe he’s taking a short name, maybe he’s no his cell phone. We don’t know, but the picture is compelling and invites us to imagine
Cathy Macpherson’s stream is beautiful and relaxing. There is this serenity in her pictures whether they are oriented toward the deserts of the Southwest or gazing out to see on a beautiful beach. She even has a few city pictures and they, too, seem relaxed and easy, as though the city itself is inviting you to enjoy her charms. I want to go where Cathy has been.

The artwork impressed you to the point where you almost mistook it for something created by Midjourney or a similar artist.
