Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
I know I wrote about Zakk Bifrandt just a few weeks ago when I highlighted his circus pictures. But I cannot let this stunning photo go unremarked. He was inspired by Loreena McKennitt’s “Caravanserai” [to listen, click here] to create this picture in Second Life and that is what he did.

Zakk did not just wake up and shoot this picture. According to his friend Ethan Lane, it’s been in the works for months. “I remember when you talked about this idea months ago and finally it's done to fruition.”
As Zakk explained, “The setting and full caravan were done within SL. I ran out of room for the last 50 camels that rise up the distant ridge, so they're actually stacked directly above the lower camels and shrunk down a bit... a little fun with optical illusion.”
No green screen, no morphing, just Second Life, a wild creative vision, and a lot of planning.
