Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Erika Xaron fooled me with this photo. My first thought on seeing it was Leonard Cohen’s “Bird on a Wire.” I found myself singing sotto voce, “Like a bird on a wire, like a drunk in a midnight choir, I have tried in my way to be free.”
But this is not one bird, it’s many. And they have company. Look closely, that’s no cuckoo in the nest. What is truly delightful is that she has taken pics with friends before, as in “We used to be friends” and “My Friends.”

“Aim High” is another picture that fools the eye. It looks like that bridge has the stiffest rope in the universe but again, another trompe l’oiel. The clouds just hide the rest of the bridge, but it seems as though it’s self-supporting somehow. It also made me laugh out loud at the clever capture.
Oh, wow. This is stunning, a view from above. Don’t you just love it when someone gives you a fresh new look at the world?
Erika Xaron is a delightful photographer. I love her quirky way of looking at the world, the freshness of her vision.

So..... in the first picture, those are human-sized (or at least avatar sized) seagulls? Or the avatar is tiny (compared to the roof tiles)...
