Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Faye Nightshade’s “Travel Journal | Winterstorm” is a fabulous picture full of energy and deeply situated in the place she is shooting. There are leading lines with the trees following the river. The dynamic movement of the boat is shown by its wake in the turbulent river and the camera becomes part of the scene thanks to the water on the lens. It’s just fantastic.

“Zerkalo” is a haunting picture. Here is a huge urban city depopulated and abandoned, with vines taking over from the people who have left. The road is broken and vehicles are left where they were when whatever happened to the city happened. It’s a great picture and there is a link to the fabulous city accompanying the Zerkalo store.
While she usually shoots in black and white, this picture works so well in color because that more clearly bifurcates the view from one side of the walkway and the other. The deckway goes right down the middle toward the sunlight which breaks through the clouds. On the left is lush green marsh and a sunlit crane, on the right, the deep blue of the lake. It’s a gorgeous picture.
Faye Nightshade’s stream is full of travel pictures. She provides snatches of poetry, musical moods, and when applicable, SLurls to teleport you to check out the place yourself.
