Most answering that it didn't see a profit in scaling its ads within Meta's vision of the 'verse. Advertising on a forums platform like Facebook is relatively affordable since it's a shotgun approach. The more ads you try to get in a room full of avatars will only chase them away. A few billboard ads that scroll isn't popular either, as the advertisers will have to wait in turn for their ad to scroll in before they can count numbers. I think Meta is letting the pot simmer until they figure out the next ingredient.
Venon commented on 'Meta's CTO Tells Me They Haven't Walked Away from the Metaverse. I don't know Boz so maybe speaking like a seventh grader is just his "thing", but as an adult man, I can't help but be both amazed and disappointed to learn that the guy typing those responses is an executive at one of the world's largest companies.

You hit a nerve. Obviously, if things were all pink and rosy in the VR glass of Metaverse's metaverse arm, it would have been a bit easier for Boz to reply with a thoughtful response of why you are "wrong" about the metaverse taking a back seat at Meta.
Mondy commented on 'Meta's CTO Tells Me They Haven't Walked Away from the Metaverse.
Then why communicate at all? If you want your words to be taken seriously and with deep thought and intention, maybe talk exactly about what you want to talk about with specific words for "something to be about a thing".
Martin K. commented on 'Meta's CTO Tells Me They Haven't Walked Away from the Metaverse.
