Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Kiva’s picture “Driving Home” caught my eye because it is deliriously hilarious. It made me take a double-take and then crack up. It’s just so insouciant and joyful. It sort of reminds me of the aftermath of a windstorm that broke away part of a small island on the lake where I grew up. There was a tree on the part that broke off and it went bobbing along from the east to the West side of the lake where it finally beached.

“Strange New Worlds” demonstrates I can be as infantile as anybody else. But while we are looking at it, look how well she employed the Rule of Thirds to highlight the most significant element in the picture.
“Legitimate Salvage” is far more serious, but also captures just one of the several moments early in the Russo-Ukraine War that made Ukrainians feel optimistic, an example of the extraordinary spirit of the Ukrainian people.
Kiva’s photosteam is full of gorgeous landscapes with stunning lighting, beautiful skies, and great composition. I focused on more idiosyncratic pictures, though, because I love how they offer glimpses of her personality that I guess is impish and full of humor. That’s the best part of photography; it can show us both sides of the lens.
