Alsatian Kidd is showing us that you can live a thousand lifetimes in one Second Life. Here he is, participating in The Valentine’s Day Massacre in which seven members of the North Side Gang were killed which pretty much left Al Capone and his gang in charge of importing whiskey from Canada. Of course, he could be a cop. A couple of the shooters were dressed in police uniforms, but that could have been subterfuge. The really amazing thing about the The Valentine's Day Massacre is that it was never officially solved. And of course there is the song…

Here Alsation is living his life in a steampunk world, complete with the personal flight mechanism we were promised would be ubiquitous by the year 2000. It is inspired in part by The Animals’ anti-war song, “Sky Pilot”.
Yet another life as a maritime captain on Lake Superior. This is inspired by "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald". When I was a counselor at Upward Bound, I chaperoned a bunch of high school sophomores and juniors on an “oceanography” field trip on a research vessel counting fish and creepy-crawlies in Lake Superior. It was, however, considerably bigger than this. I walked around the ship with sunscreen, making them freshen their coverage, and am very proud that not one got a sunburn. Out in Lake Superior, it doesn’t take long before you cannot see shore in any direction. I could not help but think of this song, even though the days were clear..
Alsatian Kidd is living his best life, his several lives in Second Life. I love his gusto. And his pictures are fab. He often has a musical inspiration and also provides links so you, too, can live another life.
