Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
OnceAgain is an artist as well as an art curator who operates the OnceAgain gallery that features women artists in SL. Her gallery is currently closed though we can hope she opens it again. I am sure she will announce it on her stream or on her in-world profile. I am stunned by the realism in so many of her pictures, particularly her landscapes. There are some true is it live or is it Second Life moments. She often adds some thoughtful commentary, as she did for this picture. The white frame is done so cleverly in this picture. At first glance, you see two different landscapes and you are asked to choose, but look more closely, it’s one picture that is framed to appear as two. So does that mean it’s a false choice? This pic is the one that came across my activity feed and drew me in. I had to check if it was real or Second Life. It is SL and just so beautiful. It makes me think of the smoky skies from the wildfires, though milder than what has been afflicting so many people lately.
She has a puckish sense of humor. Check out her April Fool’s Day pic! Here we have a squirrel taking a group photo for a new Peaceable Kingdom. This picture is just delightful.
OnceAgain’s stream is a mix of enjoying her time in SL, art as social commentary, landscapes, and good humor. It is varied and fascinating. Definitely, give her a follow.

She spends a lot of time researching and reporting on Republican sexual predators. In her first life, she is a retired grassroots leader who has worked for economic and social justice issues most of her life. She is also the minion of a cat named Nora.
