Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Kirca Rowley’s stream is full of naturalistic pictures like this one. What really distinguishes her work is evident in the unstudied naturalness of the pose. Her pictures capture an avatar who is at ease in the world, relaxed and immersed in what she is doing. Her skies are often overcast and her pics are often in the shadows or dimly illuminated and that also adds to the natural feeling of her pics.

I imagine she is waiting at a bus stop. The sun has set and dusk is fading into night. The bus is late. It’s cold, but none of it matters, she’s not bothered by what she can’t change. I just love how she can project such confident aplomb in her avatar.
So this made me laugh because she looks like she is a “bring home the bacon, fry it up in the pan” sort of W - O - M - A - N. She has this look of complete skepticism. She does not suffer fools. I can imagine Marlene Dietrich looking like this when she told the Nazis to count rocks.
Kirca Rowley’s stream is full of expressive pictures that are enlivened with her careful attention to poses. Her avatar looks so natural and at ease whether project her ease in the world, her confidence, or her skepticism.
