Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Bavometh Beurling shoots slice-of-life pics of him and, frequently, his friends in Second Life. I was drawn to the naturalism of this photo. He called it “Down and Out in New York City” after the James Brown song that inspired him.

“Meanwhile Somewhere in Second Life” looks like somebody, or more accurately, two somebodies had a wee bit too much to drink last night. The can, though, is Campbell’s Soup, not beer. They must have just left a bar. Bavometh is going to have a stiff neck for days. To teleport to Hashima Island, the scene of the crime, click here.
“Going to Play Some B-Ball with My Homies” is another very natural slice-of-life picture. He made it using the Black Dragon poser which might be why the pose looks so true to life. He provides musical inspiration with the song “Basketball” from Bowwow. That video is unavailable in the U.S. but I found an alternate here.
Bavometh Beurling has an excellent photostream full of naturalistic pics out and about in Second Life. Many feel like spontaneous shots, something hard to do in Second Life while still getting a beautifully composed picture. If you’re at work be sure to set your Flickr settings to moderate, because there are a few tastefully immoderate pics.
