Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
I love how these sunglasses reflect the city lights surrounding Dariam Waldorf. It’s not often that a headshot conveys movement, but this one does. It’s really a great picture. I imagine that the coming of PBR will inspire many more mirror shade images.
This pic is one of tens of thousands from the SL Glasses and Shades Flickr group. I love a group that is still moderated so it doesn’t overflow with inappropriate images that are counter to the group’s purpose. In this pic, the glasses are totally the star.

Gabriel Crystal uses her glasses for a bit of flirtation, looking up over the frames. She has another lovely pic flirting with her glasses on her blog post. There is a story being told in this pic. It look like she may be flirting or perhaps she is abashed. The picture’s title is Dumping. If this is a breakup, she is the dumper, not the dumpee.
“A Steampunk Kitten” by Zoen Silent is a fabulous hybrid of steampunk and kawaii. I love that she has two pairs of eyewear, her glasses and the goggles on her top hat. Or don’t those count. And a steampunk Thing. Adorable and fun and the glasses are central to character as well.
Go check out SL Glasses and Shades. It’s a great group that sticks to the theme thanks to a hard-working moderator. It demonstrates who much glasses and shades can reveal about a person.
