Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
This picture from Lu Vortex made me realize we don’t see many fender-benders in Second Life. A quick search on Marketplace and it was clear there really aren’t many car crashes at all. That makes this picture a rarity, an honest-to-goodness Second Life car crash.

Here is a hurriedly abandoned car. The driver did not even close the door. It’s right outside a whiskey bar and that may be part of the explanation. The driver may have been singing, "Show me the way to the next whiskey bar." (Though more widely known from The Doors' cover, you can listen to the original 1930 recording by Lotte Lenya here.)
The car is still the center of this picture, though not in the front. That spot goes to the giraffe. This looks like a fun fair to visit, deliciously chaotic with a car out a new Dust Bowl coming up the Midway. I love how she hints at excitement with the bright light behind the car. It could be a setting sun or it could be lights on the many attractions within.
Lu Vortex’ photostream is for her blog and has fashion photos, gorgeous décor pictures, and occasional whimsical gems like these. The pictures are excellent and a current of playfulness runs through many of them.
