Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Birdy’s “Cloud Edge” captures sky lanterns floating above the mountain mists at Echo Mountain. This makes me think of one of those art postcards you can buy at a museum gift shop. I would sign the card, “wish I was there.”
I wanted to go, but sadly the sim has changed to a rugged coastline with a lighthouse. Not a mountain in sight. Birdy is an SL traveler and she provides us with her landmarks in her marvelous landscapes but many of the sims she has visited are gone.

Birdy made her way to the glorious black, white, and red sim called Panjin. [Teleport link: click here] I love how she uses the roof and the lantern as a frame for the landscape.
Speaking of framing, she uses her and his clothes as the frame. At an initial glance, you might think you’re looking between two rocks, but rocks don’t come in cable-knit. Their sturdy shoes are side by side, a subtle and endearing nod to their relationship that also serves to frame the fishing boat chugging past their spot. I love how this picture suggests romance without a public display.
Birdy’s stream is a delight. She’s got a mix of headshots, landscapes, and pics of her doing things and contemplating doing things. She’s having fun and it’s fun to watch.
