Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Keinenbika has some extraordinary pictures like this “Wish.” Veteran SL blogger Gogo pointed it out to me on Twitter. I was already following her but sometimes I have to just dive into someone's photostream to appreciate how great they are.
And Keinenbika is extraordinary. This is another “Is it SL or is it AI?” image thanks to how beautifully she captures the light.

I remember the days when it would rain in Second Life and no one would get wet. “The downpour feels great” is so much more realistic. You’ve been able to get wet in SL for a few years now, but it’s still fun to see. It’s nice to see that men can also get their clothing soaked to transparency. What’s fun about this is the man, Ichiro Halcali, also took a pic from a different angle for you to compare.
“Summer in Japan '' is another picture that shows her facility with light. I mean, here is a well-lit picture on a sunny day and still light is an actor in the scene. It’s simply gorgeous.
I love the cat. Is there any cat in the world who, when seeing an untended glass, will not dip in their paw? This picture reminds me of a painting I saw, I think one of starkly beautiful blank ink paintings. It was simply a cat in this pose testing the water. I spent far too long on google trying to find it. Perhaps if I could search in Japanese...
Keinenbika is an excellent person to follow. I usually get frustrated by people whose pictures are basically diagonal, but she takes the time to make it look as though diagonal is the only appropriate way to take the shot. She isn’t just taking a straight shot and turning it in photoshop. She is thinking about how it will look when it is shifted, so it looks natural. I’m not feeling a need to turn my head to see the pic. She also has a tremendous understanding of how to use light to highlight and add drama.
