Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Ryo [Ryohh Resident] has a blog which I would happily feature, but what excites me most is her photography. I love the scene she has created. Is she waiting for a bus in front of Grey Gardens? She could be a modern, chic Mary Poppins? That cat is adorable. Does it wait for the bus with her?
I had a cat who met me at the bus stop at the end of the day. I worried she might be sitting there for hours, but my neighbor who lived by the stop told me she arrived less than five minutes before the bus. Cats, they are amazing.

“Mugen” is a stunning still life. The way the light illuminates the underside of a leaf but not the top of another leaf tilted another way. The light on the glass and the bottle. It’s extraordinary. I have to confess, I thought it was a great example of PBR making lighting more natural and then I saw the date in September 2022. Maybe an early build of the PBR viewer? (We've asked.)
“546” is gorgeous. I love the flurries of leaves drawing the cat’s attention. Painting, though, may be difficult. She’s got her easel and sketchbooks, but I would really hate to see the leaves sticking to her wet pain. But then, it might inspire her, too. Again, the lighting is gorgeous.
Ryo is a fun person to follow. Her pictures provoke my imagination to concoct stories to go with her scenes. She gives us contextual clues in her pictures, but we can imagine completely different stories than were intended. It’s okay if you imagine different stories, as well. Ryo has the ability to inspire photos and that is special.
