Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Dopamine Cloud is one of Flickr’s Second Life residents who really is serious about what she describes on her About page: “Sharing what I love, moments, magic, memories, cinematic scenes.”
This picture is called “In the Moment,” which is exactly the kind of picture I love -- people going about their Second Life, visiting friends, walking around outside, or eating breakfast. I love her bed head and how she looks barely awake. She has the not-quite ready for the day vibe down perfectly.

“Knocked Out” is perfect. It came a month too late for my story on folks using computers in Second Life, but it would have been perfect. I love that she has two monitors going, one for what she’s working on and the other for streaming and binging. Now that’s the way to do it.
leaning against the couch to watch TV? I love that she took what could be a quotidian snap of folks watching TV and made it so fresh and new by using a different angle, looking down from above. There is nothing mundane about this slice of life.
The pictures I chose from Dopamine Cloud reflect the more ordinary slices of her life, but superheroes and defenders of the world eat breakfast, too. Scattered amongst her more common daily activities, she captures her alter ego fighting off the bad guys and making sure all's right with the world. You should follow her for many reasons. Her pictures are all excellent with thoughtful use of light and shadow. They reveal a personality that is enlivened by humor, that does not take her second self too seriously. And it’s just plain fun.

She spends a lot of time researching and reporting on Republican sexual predators. In her first life, she is a retired grassroots leader who has worked for economic and social justice issues most of her life. She is also the minion of a cat named Nora.
