Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Aisha Cahir has a lovely blog called My Decor World featuring decor, of course. I love 1728 Farm which she just posted today. The clothes line is everything. Dryers have driven the lowly clothesline into hiding, but it deserves more respect. Clothes dried on the line smell so fresh. There’s nothing as lovely as fresh, clean sheets dried on the line.

“To Dream” is a lovely kids bedroom that is full of color and creativity. What child doesn’t want that bunkbed? I also love the little seating poufs with fruit on top. So cute. I wish, though, she told us where to get the lovely bookcase tree. The wooden toys from Oh Deer! are delightful. And in a case of life imitating art, I used baskets to turn an empty bookcase into a storage unit similar to that Kraftwork console with baskets on the bottom.

Aisha Cahir has a knack for decor creating fun and creative spaces. Her pictures are inviting and I appreciate that she provides links and, even more, I love that she uses things that are in her inventory, like that console above that is at least two years old. SL blogging has become so focused on events and it’s nice to step back and take some pleasure in shopping the main stores and our closets.
I do wish she credited everybody, though. I understand the impulse to only credit those who provide samples, but thank them by putting them first or in bold. If you’re blogging for your readers, think about what they might want and they might want that tree bookcase. Also, I have lost count of the creators who have said that they look to see if a blogger has credited them in the past. You might have used their items, but if you didn’t credit them, your posts won’t show up in search, so how will they know? And when you’re putting them together so beautiful as Aisha does, folks might want everything.
