Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Charly Starsider posted this lovely and romantically soft and dreamy picture of herself looking just over her shoulder. Purists object to using a lot of bokeh, but I’m not a purist. I think bokeh can be very dramatic and romantic.
These pictures are from her account on Primfeed, the new photo-sharing platform that was created by a Second Life merchant Luke Rowley for Second Life residents’ sharing pictures of Second Life. Just launched in response to frustrations with Flickr, it has grown with incredible speed. We're featuring these here since they were also cross-posted to Charly's publicly accessible Flickr.

I love this femme fatale picture of Charly. The dramatic winged eyes and the hat with the net veil remind me of the cabaret singers in 1930s Berlin like Marlene Dietrich or her modern incarnation, Ute Lemper.
This is another romantic picture with a lot of bokeh suggesting moonlight coming in the window. This is such a contemplative picture, you can imagine trying to solve the troubles of the world or maybe, just plan out her day.
Charly Starsider is a heavy user of bokeh and I love it. I think of someone loves bokeh, they should use it and if they dislike bokeh, they shouldn’t use it.

Have you been hoping your work might be featured someday? There are thousands of Second Life residents on Flickr and sometimes it’s worth it to promote yourself. There is a Flickr group for you to post your pictures and put yourself forward. Sometimes it just takes getting noticed. Tell your friends to do the same.
Cajsa’s Choices is devoted to unique, artistic, and innovative virtual world-based images and screenshots that showcase the medium as an art form and Second Life as a creative platform. (Generally not images that fit on this Bingo card.)
