Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Checking in on The Hotel Inspector, I was excited to see a recent post on the best bars in Second Life. From Underwater Speakeasies to Cyberpunk Lounges: 12 SL Bar picks. In his post, he describes the ambiance at a dozen SL bars that deliver unique and delightful experiences. There are several pictures of each bar and SLURLS to all of them.
I am particularly taken with the underwater speakeasy at Valmoor he highlights. I spent my early years in SL living underwater, not as a merperson, but just to leave more land for picture-taking. The picture is from the Continental, another amazing bar he visits. I’m intrigued by The Wellesley Club which features a post-World War II London club. Smells like victory.

I have two dream travel destinations: Antarctica and Bali. The latter is more within the realm of possibility. And if I can’t afford Bali in real life, I would definitely like Bali in Second Life, so I was happy to see The Hotel Inspector’s review Exploring Bali Paradise. There are many pictures and he makes it sound like a fun place to visit with plenty of adventures and sightseeing.
There is more to Second Life than shopping and there should be more than shopping blogs in Second Life. The Hotel Inspector is a delightful blog that I featured back in 2022. I love its professionalism. I love that he is completely serious about reviewing hotels and giving guidance to residents looking for fun, romantic, adventurous, restful or any other kind of experiences. The photos are excellent. The blog is well-organized and I love the compilation posts of best spas, best bars, that give a more specific kind of review. This blog is enriched with a deep appreciation for the magic of Second Life and it makes me happy. What more can I ask.
