Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Yo Roo’s “I won’t scream and give them that satisfaction” is fierce. The sepia duotone suggests it may be an aged picture of some historic warrior queen who adorned herself with the bullets taken from the rifles of her fallen enemies. It’s just enough off-center, that it remains dynamic. She could move at any second. The title suggests she has been defeated, but her face says not in any way that matters.
Yoli kindly lists a few key items, noting why she chose them. Even the tears come from Second Life. One thing you also know from Yoli, there is no AI touching up.

"You’re gonna have to put me in my grave before you put me in my place" is another example of Yoli’s ability to make her avatar so fierce. The expression, the look in her eyes is just so intimidating. She’s one tough cookie.
This is about as ordinary as Yoli gets. No costume, in a modern city. And she still looks like she eats nails for breakfast and drinks kerosene for kicks. She calls this picture, “I feel holy w hen I raise hell.” And I am sure she does. She is able to make convincing hard-edged superwomen whose face leaves no space for defeat. These are women who may be forced to take a step back, but only to get sure footing to go forward again.
Yo Roo’s is sort of inspirational, at least for women. I love seeing a woman who is so sure of her worth. She has a few romantic pictures that portray a softer side and an incredible erotic pic that could upend Snow White. Whether cosplaying in the past, present, or future, Yoli kicks ass and takes names.
