Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Jeanette StellaMarina is very much into cosplaying the women of fairy tales and mythology. Most of them from the sea as this mermaid taking a little sun on the shore. I suppose we might guess that she would be fascinated by the sea since it’s right there in her name. Stella means star and marina you can guess. And StellaMarina means starfish in her native Italian. Well, she is certainly the most glamorous starfish you can find. For those who are interested, she also provides credits and a musical interlude.

“Eternal Eclipse” is inspired more by real life’s classical music ensemble than the fictional deal with the devil in “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”. Still, this picture is magical with her violin shooting sparks as she plays. Perhaps her music is populating the sky with stars. My uncle Emil was a violinist and woe be it for anyone who called his violin a fiddle.
“Jasmine and the Genie Lamp” brings us back to the land of fairy tales though this picture is more likely told by Disney than by Scheherazade. I love how she contemplates the lantern as though willing it to be occupied by a genie.
Jeanette StellaMarina’s photostream is filled with princesses and heroines of fables and fairy tales. She has a mix of Second Life and AI (Subtle Diffusion) pictures and labels them clearly. Her SL photos are edited with PhotoShop Elements and taken using the Black Dragon viewer. She’s creative and does a wonderful job of bringing her stories to life.
