Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Len Teardrop’s “Madame” makes me think of Versailles and the many glamorous women who lived before the unlucky Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. I love the way she uses today’s lingerie to suggest yesterday’s stories. Speaking of stories, did you know you can read the memoirs of various royals and courtiers of France for free on Kindle? A good place to start is with Memoirs of Marguerite of Valois, Queen of Navarre. She writes well and was an eyewitness to the power struggle between her brother and her husband. There are dozens of memoirs. You can also find them at Project Gutenberg. They could add realism to your role-play.

“Cut my baguette’s head” is shot at Second Life’s Petit Trianon. Don’t you just love how her dress echoes the color of the hedges? The real Petit Trianon was completed during the reign of Louis XV, but it became associated with Marie Antoinette because she liked to stay there with her closest friends and companions. Sadly, this picture’s title is a bit of fatal foreshadowing. If you want a first-hand recount of Marie Antoinette’s court, there is the free memoir of her First Lady in Waiting, Madame Campan. Len doesn’t just cosplay French courtiers. Here she is as Monet from One Piece. For fans, she wrote about how she achieved her look in the description. I love it because it’s so very different.
Len Teardrop’s stream is a mix of cosplay and hanging out with friends. You can find her among the Fates or as a pew-pew-pewing pop art gunslinger or even in collabs with friends. Her stream is fun and it looks like she had a lot of fun making it.
