Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
The 2024 Olympic opening ceremony (watch here) was designed around the history and cultural influences of France. In the United States where we barely teach our own history, our lack of context provoked much sturm und drang in social media.
Many people were shocked by the headless woman during the Liberté thematic portion of the ceremony despite countless books and movies about the hapless Marie Antoinette.
Loute Diesel was inspired to recreate that tableau and it is magnificent. And for you roleplayers, she even provides credits:

“Dark Knight” is Loute’s first picture with PBR and it’s brilliant. Loute is a chameleon, ever-changing to create the stories she wants to tell. I’m not quite sure how a crystalline head can see, talk, think, or breathe for that matter, but it sure can scare. Not someone I want to meet in a dark alley. She is resting, at ease, but not on a very comfortable looking settee.
Loute participates in several collaborative pics with her fellow photographers in a lovely French photo group. You can see these many collabs in her album Francopotes. In “Les Autres” or “The Others” she gives us a terrifying picture. You can imagine some near-future where humanoid robots make decisions about our lives, leaving us frightened and isolated. Or, perhaps we can see this picture as a metaphor for our fears and how we are harmed by fear when we let it control us. Or, perhaps this represents a 360° evaluation at your workplace. Isn’t it amazing how many stories a picture can inspire?
I’ve written about Loute Diesel before, as a blogger, I’ve also written about the French photo group and shared her pictures there. She deserves, however, to be featured on her own for her photographs. That she usually includes styling credits is really, just the cherry on top of her triple chocolate sundae of a photo collection.
