Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
The Got Blog Bloggers Challenge was launched by Sasy Scarborough of Sasy Scarborough dot com and Gorgeous Aurelia of JuicyBomb, who also created the I Heart SL feed. They are advocating that more people blog on their own blog site that they control rather than be subject to the ups and downs of Flickr or Primfeed and their changing Terms of Service.
“Photoblog style posting, also known as posting images with credits only, has become popular in the last few years, using platforms like Flickr or Social Media to provide exposure to content. For myself, and many others, it is a Blog/Website that engages with the public, both within Second Life, and outside of it in a more tangible way. With the number of changes occurring on Social Media and places like Flickr, we are seeing a return to the idea of Blogger having Blogs… and we are here for it. We encourage it, we applaud it, and we are excited about it… so we wanted to get those that have been Blogging that way all along to engage with their community and show us what, where and why.”

Of course, if you offer a challenge you have to tackle it yourself and Sasy posted her answers right after the challenge. You can read her answers at Got Blog! Sasy Scarborough.
A Blog is yours, it is owned by and controlled by you, other than the basic TOS of the platform you choose, you have a world that you get to create and share however you want, you can be creative in your own space, and no one can tell you otherwise. Your content is your own, and it can be around for long after you may be gone, or waiting for you when you return, it can be your time well spent in Second Life, and even a timeline of content that you yourself want to refer back to, or just remember in your old age. We want to see more of you, and I hope that you will pick up this challenge and share with others why it is that you Blog, and that it may encourage others to maybe do the same.
Each week my column features blogs I like. It’s harder for me when people don’t have an actual blog because many bloggers don’t have Flickr Pro accounts so they cannot provide SLURLS. This means hunting for stores. They could get around it by listing the name of the designer allowing folks to look up the designers’ profiles to find SLurls. But I blogged for years and never thought of that, either. I would be thrilled if more people had their own blogs rather than microblogging. I hope a lot of folks take up the challenge.

Cajsa’s Choices is devoted to unique, artistic, and innovative virtual world-based images and screenshots that showcase the medium as an art form and Second Life as a creative platform. (Generally not images that fit on this Bingo card.)
Cajsa Lilliehook is a sixteen year resident of Second Life, where she owned a photo studio, spent several years as a DJ at The Velvet, and for her first SL job, cleaned up prim trash. She co-founded and runs the It’s Only Fashion blog with her best friend Gidge Uriza. She also has a book review blog, Tonstant Weader Reviews and a cooking blog, Single Serving Recipes. She spends a lot of time researching and reporting on Republican sexual predators. In her first life, she is a retired grassroots leader who has worked for economic and social justice issues most of her life. She is also the minion of a cat named Nora.
Thank you so much for featuring this Challenge in NWN, we hope that you will both consider doing it ♥

Issueing a challenge is not something to laugh at. You could just consider one or two things that you can label as profitable for the rest of the world or even as possible means for a future development. The company has the ability to use both features, but only you can decide which one is the best option for your time and ability.
