Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Zib Scaggs is one of my favorite artists. I love her surreal view of Second Life and I have no idea what the more adventurous stylists, fashion bloggers, and photographers without her wild creations that she markets under her brand Zibska. She has a wild imagination that she makes real and you see her work all over Flickr. This is called freyr, perhaps from Norse mythology, and I love this optical illusion of a fracturing avatar. Look closer, you can see she is intact, the illusion is created by the headpiece. You can see it on the Marketplace and see how it creates the illusion.

With “Ripley” she also creates a feeling of fracture or, perhaps, those are ideas and she is so full of ideas they just flow out. She can’t contain them all. When I look at Zib’s stream, I certainly get the feeling that she has more ideas that can be contained, that they are just bursting from her.
“Sileas” is a truly elegant picture. I love this picture. It’s so stylish and striking. I can imagine someone wearing this at the denouement of a movie.
Zib Scaggs creates amazing surreal head and neckpieces and tattoos that allow so many people to create wildly inventive pictures, but she also creates wild pictures of her own that I love to see. I am a fan. I met her back in 2007 and have admired her creativity ever since. If you’re interested, I wrote a profile of her back in 2013 for the now closed AVENUE Magazine.
