Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Ella Pavlona creates lush pictures that are explosions of color, flowers, and exuberance. Take “Dancing in the Sky” where she is dancing, circling so the sash of her kimono circles her. Falling all around her are little bits of silver glitter and white doves. It’s a beautiful cacophony.

Again, she fills the picture with flowers and ornaments inspired by the colors of her clothing, almost like camouflage, so she seems to be born out of the flowers and other ornaments, arising from the flowers and decor.
Kittens and peonies are her inspiration this time. I think the peonies are inspired by her kimono. Again, the picture is full of energy and excitement.
Ella Pavlona has three distinct styles in her pictures. She shoots landscapes worthy of a Constable painting. She creates these exuberant explosions of energy and then she shoots pictures of her Second Life with her friends. They are gorgeous, comic, and exaggerated into delightful camp. Seriously, I could do three separate columns to do her work justice.
