Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Lynx Luga shoots his pictures from a unique perspective that creates arresting pictures that you cannot browse past. For example, “Wet Glasses” zooms in up close and personal. The water on his glasses suggests heavy rain more effectively than if we saw him being soaked in a downpour. The lighting and the way the water refracts it makes it seem as though he has heterochromia.

“Pride” is a gorgeous picture of a peacock. I love the color story in this picture. It’s desaturated. Most peacock pictures are incredibly vibrant. This has an aged feeling but it doesn’t seem as though the picture is old. It feels like he has taken a picture of a memory, something impossible in real life, but not in Second Life.
“No Room in Heaven” is a shocking picture. The skeletal avatar has wings which suggests he is a vampire. So, is he a skeletal vampire, is he doubly undead? I love this picture. The way the skeletal creature holds the man is tender and loving. The man seems dead and the title suggests that this creature may be escorting the man to some other place, but not with cruelty, with gentility. I love it.
Lynx Luga has a beautiful photostream with gorgeous landscapes, fun steampunk and vintage pics, striking tableaux like “No Room in Heaven,” and so much more. Check out his About page to see his showcase and most popular photos. They are stunning.
