Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
It’s Halloween and I am turning my column over to the kooky, mysterious, spook, altogether ooky celebrants of Second Life. Daikota Wind gives us the frightful “It Was Already Halloween when You Rang the Doorbell.” I love how the bright white of her gown draws your eye so that you see the murder victim second. It’s clever misdirection and it works.
Java Bug created “Dia de los Muertos” and it’s beautiful. I love how it’s all black and white except for her sugar skull mask of La Calavera Catrina. Her choices highlight the mask, drawing us in.

HeatherJane Petrov brings together “The Pumpkin Patch Band” It looks as though she ran an HDR filter or sharpened edges to give it a folk-art feeling. I love it.
A.Salvatore presents “Evil Things Lurking in the Dark” and, wow, are they evil-looking.
Cayla Catz gives us the all-too-realistic “Rock and Roll Is Forever” though most of the great rock bands still have a few living members. This could be The Ramones, one of the few bands who have lost all their members.. On the other hand, every member of ZZ Top remains among the living.
I’m tempted to hide the title of Razor Cure’s picture so you can guffaw like I did. But I won’t. I wanted to, but I won’t. It’s called “Miami Mice.” I love the costume, but I love the quip even more.
Brooke FiftyOne is a bold emcee at “The Monster Circus” Look at all the monsters.
S✪ULUL₳☈ gives us this gorgeous duet. “Have a Spooktacular Halloween” She is a damaged doll and he is a skeletal man, a gorgeous couple celebrating their night.
Andie shows us the kind of Halloween most of us experience, absent monsters and murders but full of treats.

She spends a lot of time researching and reporting on Republican sexual predators. Wow! Very cool Halloween images.
