Cajsa's Choices: Beautifully Composed, Story-Rich SL Imagery by Dopamine

Dopamine is a lovely little chemical that makes us happy. You could call it a neuromotivator if that were a word. 

Dopamine is also a woman who tells the most wonderful stories with her photos and perhaps motivates others with her skill as a storytelling photographer. This is a familiar scene for those in snowy climes though my dad taught me to never push from right behind the wheel because the moment the wheel gets traction, that poor guy is going to get piles of snow in his face.

“All it’s ever been” is a powerful picture that tells a story by making only the cigarette in focus and all the rest blurred using depth of field. Did the person in the car toss it out or was it thrown away by the woman? I don’t know. Still, there must be a reason it’s the star of the show. Is the woman or the driver giving them up? I hope so.

“All that really matters” is a picture of all that really matters - her friends. The title points to an important truth, that those you love and who love you are all that matters. It looks like they have had a fun evening of tree decorating. It’s a lovely picture with the light coming in from outside. 

Dopamine has a gorgeous photostream that highlights her friendships in Second Life. Most of her pictures are taken with one or two or three of her friends. The pictures capture the joys of friendship with little slice-of-life moments. They tell stories of watching television together, skateboarding, boating, and just hanging out.
