Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting

Инес Масуки ...🚭, or Ines Lauria, chose this single picture for her Flickr showcase and it’s an apt choice as it very much captures her sensibility. Despite the “No Smoking” symbol in her account handle, it’s a bit of work to find a picture of her without a cigarette. She seems very much the laconic, cool young mod, casually dressed with a cigarette in hand. The sort of cool edge that makes even the most casual clothes seem like high fashion.

This picture is exciting. I love the way her head is thrown back to let her hair fall freely. She stands with her feet a little more shoulder width apart, the strong Forward Stance that makes me think of social justice organizing. I love the boldness of it. 

Here she’s relaxing against a chair, completely at ease. The black of her outfit almost becomes one with the background, throwing her skin and face into bright relief.  

Ines [Инес Масуки] makes me think of Peggy Lipton of The Mod Squad. She has her look and her sense of style. Now, does she investigate crime?

She spends a lot of time researching and reporting on Republican sexual predators. In her first life, she is a retired grassroots leader who has worked for economic and social justice issues most of her life. She is also the minion of a cat named Nora.
