Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Kumomi loves to shoot pictures of her home and surroundings. This picture really called out to me because it looks so comfy and cozy. It’s 36° F and chilly where I am IRL, but this gave me a virtual warming up.
I love how cuddly this feels with all those pillows and blankets. It appeals in appearance, but in real life, every single one of those pillows would be on the floor. I can’t stand pillows! I like a flat pillow so my neck doesn’t bend. I also would probably chuck most of the covers. I like one thick quilt. But my way never looks cozy. This room will raise the room’s perceived temperature at least ten degrees.

Oh, wow, a fireplace in the dining area off the kitchen. Now I want to sit down and eat by the fire. Again the wood adds so much warmth. The cupboards, counter, fridge, and stools all look so modern but they seamlessly blend with the traditional dining table and chairs. This is a cook’s kitchen going by the shelf that serves as a pantry. I would love to cook here. It’s so inviting and well-stocked.
Is there a reader anywhere who would not secretly long for this little library where they can relax and read. I hope it is really a library and not the living room because then she would have to pick up the books. Her artwork appeals to me, especially the round floral pictures. I kind of want them in my living room. I also love the cabinet. That looks like painted ceramic tiles. My RL sister is a rosemaling artist and has done several cabinets over the years. Just to brag a bit, some of her work is in the permanent collection at Vesterheim Folk Art Museum.
Kumomi excels at creating inviting and comfortable decor and landscapes. Well, she does sometimes decorate with rocks that seem designed to break your ankle, but she provides lots of lovely rooms to put your foot up and chill. I love her stream and how her rooms look organic, as though they were decorated over time and not all at once, pieces lovingly added over the years. There is real emotional authenticity in her work.
