Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Elise chooses to work in black and white which, in my opinion, is a perfect fit for her rebel with-or-without a cause aesthetic.
Truly, looking at her stream my first and strongest reaction was if James Dean were a woman.
It’s not the occasional cigarette, either, it’s the stance, the way she poses her body, relaxed, confident, cool, raw, and rebellious.
She has that style, her stance is everything.

“She’s a Rainbow” is another example of how she holds her body to convey strength and casual confidence. “Can’t touch this” she seems to say. I love the title, she’s a rainbow in black and white. Confident and gorgeous.
“Kiss Her Heart” took me by surprise because I was thinking of her as a female James Dean and for a second I thought that water tower was a drilling rig for oil right out of Giant. I love what she did with it. There she is in the forefront, smelling a lush flower while in the background there is the water tower and leaves blowing in a strong wind. There is a wildness to the background that contrasts with the the foreground in a striking way.
Elise really knows how to hold herself with confidence in the virtual world. Her pictures exude cool. I hope she feels just as cool and confident in both her lives.
