Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Faringdon is, I believe, a cat. Most of their Flickr images (and their Flickr profile pic) are of a Siamese pic in Second Life, exploring and photographing themselves in the virtual world.
Everyone knows cats love books, even on a Kindle. Though, I confess my cat has a love/hate relationship with my Kindle. When I am reading, it is an impediment to receiving 100% of my attention and she often tries to insert herself between me and the Kindle. When it is laying down on the end table, though, she lovingly chews on its corners and lays on it, keeping it as hidden as she can make it. I love the titles of these books, so very to the point.

Faringdon does not only do self-portraits. There are also amazing home decor shots with a beautiful eye for form. I love the arched doors that lead to the stairs. The composition is magnificent. The simplicity of Faringdon’s pictures is deceptive, because there is such intention in the composition.
Here’s Faringdon at his most cattish, grooming on the windowsill. Again, the picture is so beautifully executed. If you were thinking about how the Rule of Thirds is found in this picture, the far right third border goes right up through the middle of Faringdon. Also, the wide rail of the window is just above the imaginary line a third from the top of the window. The window itself is centered which often creates a somewhat flat picture, but not in this case because it is made asymmetrical by the differences in the foliage growth and the different sides of the window, one open and one closed.
