Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Alsatian Kidd brings the viral “Leopards ate my face” meme to literal life in Second Life, with a Cybertruck added for good measure. After the “Hands Off” anti-Trump/Musk marches across the country this weekend, I was curious if Second Lifers were showing their concerns in their pictures. There were not as many pictures as I anticipated, probably because we are being habituated to ineptitude and corruption. But not all are exhausted by outrage and for Alsatian, there is a strong, consistent commitment to resistance.
What are some other Second Life folks up to in the wake of "Hands Off"? Click here for more:

Prins Evergarden goes for a far more metaphorical approach in "Breaking News: Trump & Putin Split the Sun"
Seeing these sculptures in Second Life (He provides the landmark) inspired him to see two autocrats. Splitting the sun seems an apt description for the swaths of damage done.
Penumbra of Carterville shared her picture of a poem she created and is giving to people freely at an exhibition by another Second Life artist. She describes her poem thus:
As President Trump seeks to purge the federal government of “woke” initiatives, agencies have flagged hundreds of words to limit or avoid, according to a compilation of government documents. I took the words and copy and pasted them into ChatGPT and asked them to be made into a poem. It is a lovely poem of everything we are losing. I put this out at Coppelia,
There are other protest pieces there created by Jo Ellsmore. Here is hte landmark where you can get your own copy of the poem. [Teleport to Coppelia, click here.]
I love seeing people in Second Life reacting to what is happening in the real world. If you have something to share, please create it and submit to Avatars Against Trump. For some reason, it’s not allowing me to invite people.
