Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
While browsing all the Happy Easter pictures of friends and relatives with their kids hunting for eggs and the laden tables of Easter dinners, I thought it was a good idea to see what Second Life residents had to offer. Second Life Easter was much more interesting, if I do say so myself. Leonorah Beverly’s “Happy Easter” is not quite in sync with the usual pastel sweetness you usually see, but that makes it interesting. I love that she takes such a departure from the expected. It is a fun picture.

Stjepen Novak’s “Happy Easter” is a delightful and simple Easter wish with a couple older avatars. I love the rich colors. He resisted the temptation to add eggs and rabbits and that’s a good thing because such intense colors would be overwhelming with a lot of ornaments. Its simplicity is what makes it work.
Uri Jefferson went a completely different route, creating a picture speaking to the history behind the holiday. No bunnies on Golgotha. Of course, this picture is more for Friday which is when Uri posted it. While the eggs, bunnies, and all the other frivolous trappings are perfectly in sync with the celebratory nature of Easter.
Happy Easter to all who celebrate. I liked all sorts of celebratory pictures with SL babies, Easter pics and bunnies, Easter eggs, and bunny costumes, the adorable kind and the sexy kind. So, check out the Easter pics in my gallery here:
