Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
Kirsten seems ready for hunting, with a camera in the off-season most likely as he’s not got the tiniest bit of blaze orange to protect him from getting shot by an overeager hunter. The only things that will fit in his backpack are his lunch and a camera, maybe a few lenses. Besides, huskies aren’t really hunting dogs. I like the picture and think it’s a good example of Kirsten’s photostream where he features pictures of him doing things, an active and lively person in Second Life.
Here Kirsten is making a pretense of playing soccer. He confesses all in the title, “Wasn't aiming for the ball more towards tripping her up…” Excuses, excuses. He provides a link to the woman, Addie’s, Flickr post of the same scene, so you can see how they went for a different vibe in their pics. I love how the pose has them both looking so avidly at the ball. Fantastic shot.
Here he is the almost quintessential fishing from the dock picture. I say "almost" because he’s actually facing toward, not away from, the camera. I wonder what he is catching. I hated fishing from the dock. It’s one thing in a river to fish from shore, but on a lake, fishing from the dock means catching the shallower water fish, the perch, sunfish, crappies, bluegills, all the fish that taste too fishy. I didn’t much like angling, preferring spearfishing in the winter, and no fishing during the summer, but sometimes we would take the boat out for some walleye and northern pike. You will not catch them in shallow water. He looks like he might be shore fishing going by the vegetation, I guess what he catches would depend on the surf. It’s Second Life, he might even catch merfolk.
Kirsten has a fun photostream. He posts a lot of pictures of him doing more than stand there, though he does have a few of them. He collaborates with others in group pictures and in couples pics. I like to see folks getting out of their skyboxes and into the world, so his pics are exciting to see.
